G3-X:Ooh, such an interesting film, that Queen of Langkasuka is. Involving both Thai and Malaysian history, it's a must watch for me. I wonder why the article say there would be a "Javanese" element in addition to Thai and Malay? Weird. Whatever, I'm still looking forward for the movie

ijatz : that time i think already islamic kingdom la. hindu/buddist era far before that time..because malaysia gov dont want to admit langkasuka more powerful than melaka. u know all our history based on melaka. while other malay kingdom they dont teach us.

ReplyDeleteLangkasuka (c.200-1400 Masehi) berpusat di daerah Jerang (Thai = Yarang, ยะรัง), Patani Darussalam. Tamadun Langkasuka di warisi oleh Kesultanan Patani yg wujud pada tahun ~1350 masehi.
ReplyDeleteKesultanan Melayu Patani hilang dari muka bumi ini setelah di takluki secara mutlak oleh Rama V Siam dlm tahun 1902. Raja Melayu nya terakhir, Sultan Abdul Kadir Kamaruddin di tawan oleh Rama V dan di tahan dan di siksa di penjara Pitsanulok selama hampir 3 tahun.
Langkasuka/Patani telah wujud sejak 200 Masehi, 1200 tahun sebelum Melaka.

ReplyDeleteBetul jgk pendapat2 public dlm blog u ni...tak semestinya kene correct dia punya date. Event PGL sendiri byk perubahan tak mengekalkan original story. Tp sbg rakyat M'sia sy sokong PGL berbanding cerita2 bodoh prof mohiden (betul ke spell nama dia?)
